On the morning of June 19, the 2019 HUST Graduation Ceremony and Degree Awarding Ceremony was held in the Optics Valley Gymnasium. As a representative of international undergraduate students, PALASHIKA VIJAY BHAT, an Indian student from the First Clinical College, made a speech and recalled how the Spirit of TONG ZHOU GONG JI (pull together in times of trouble) is engraved into her life sincerely.

  Leaders, teachers, parents, 2019 graduates, everyone!

  I am palashika Weiduo, a student of the First Clinical College. I am from India. Everyone knows that India is a country of song and dance. However, I can't dance at this serious time, so unfortunately you won't be able to see any today.

  Today, I am honored to speak on behalf of all international graduates.

  "Study at HUST, Study Medicine at Tongji!", as a student who wants to be a doctor, the reputation of "One Hundred Years of Tongji" made me decide to come to China, come to Wuhan, come to Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and open the door to dreams.

  Six years ago, when I walked into HUST, oh my god,  I had never seen such a big university! it was at that moment that I really understood the meaning of the word " LOST".

  The year at the HUST main campus soon passed, and then I started living in Tongji Campus. In Wuhan, we often hear the phrase "As long as there is still a breath, hurry to send to Tongji; If can not be saved, and quickly send to the Union," you can see the trust of Tongji Hospital and Wuhan Union Hospital of Tongji Medical College.

  We completed our clinical internships at the Wuhan Union Hospital. During the learning process, we were introduced to the responsibility of becoming a doctor. As Professor Qiu Fa Zu said: "Find satisfaction in your life, work and learning.

  I will never forget the first anatomy class. The smell of Formalin hit like a tornado, and I couldn't eat meat for a month. I'll never forget the first day of my internship when I entered the surgery room, the sigh of blood gave me a cold sweat. But today, we not only have solid clinical skills, standardized medical operations, rigorous clinical thinking, but also inherit the spirit of "teamwork".

  Studying abroad alone was an experience that will never be forgotten. Without any friends or family , with a language barrier and unfamiliar environment our teachers treated us like family members and made us feel comfortable.

  Apart from learning and living , I must mention Wuhan's delicious food! Reganmian（热干面）, Huanxituo（欢喜坨）, Mianwo（面窝）, Doubi（豆皮）, Longxia（龙虾）etc ...O! Just thinking about it! making me hungry.

  Of course, the city of Wuhan also left a deep impression on me. I want to ask everyone, what is the slogan of Wuhan? Yes, it is "Wuhan, Different Everyday". Today it maybe cold so we put on warm cloths, tomorrow it maybe warn so we put on short sleeves, today it might rain, tomorrow it might be sunny! Thats the uniqueness of Wuhan.

  Although it's hard to bear, but this day is still here, we're about to graduate! Please allow me to say goodbye to my alma mater on behalf of international students, say goodbye to the teachers, and say goodbye to the students; but we will never say goodbye to our dream, nor can we say goodbye to our vow to preserve life and health.

  So HUSTers, it’s time for us to show our talents, let the world see how good HUST students are!

 So graduating class of 2019, on adventure ends and the next one begins. Just remember everything will be okay. Congratulations!

  各位领导，各位老师，各位家长，2019届毕业生们，大家好！

  我是palashika卫朵，第一临床学院MBBS的学生，我来自印度，大家都知道，印度是一个会唱歌会跳舞的国家，但是，我不能在这个严肃的时候跳舞，所以大家看不到啦。

  今天，我很荣幸代表刚刚受表彰的11名优秀来华毕业生和全体毕业的国际学生发言。

  “学在华中大，学医在同济”，作为一名想当医生的学生，“百年同济”的声誉让我决定来到中国，来到武汉，来到华中大，打开了梦想的大门。

  6年前，当我走进华中大的时候，oh my god，因为我从来没有见过这么大的学校，在这里，我真正理解了“迷路”这个词的意思。

  在华中大校区的一年很快就过去了，接下来我就开始了同济校区的生活。在武汉，我们经常听到这样一句话“只要还有一口气，赶快赶快送同济，别人救不活，赶快赶快送协和”，可见大家对于华中大同济医学院协和医院和同济医院的信赖。

  我们这一届国际学生是在协和医院完成的临床实习，学习过程中，也让我对成为医生的责任，有更进一步的认识，就像裘法祖教授说的：做人要知足，做事要知不足，做学问要不知足。

  我永远忘不了第一次解剖课，福尔马林的味道来的太快就像龙卷风，让我整整一个月不想吃肉；也忘不了实习的时候，第一次进手术室看到鲜血，冷汗直冒的感觉。但如今的我们，不仅有扎实的临床基本功、规范的医疗操作、严谨的临床思维，还继承了“同舟共济”的精神。

  一个人在外学习，是永远也忘不了的经历，刚开始，身边没有家人没有朋友，面对语言不通、陌生的环境，老师把我们当亲人，让我们感到温暖。

  除了学习和生活，我不提武汉的小吃也不厚道，热干面、欢喜坨、面窝、豆皮、龙虾等等，哎呀，提到这些，我都要流口水啦。

  当然，武汉这个城市也给我留下了深刻的印象。我想问下大家，武汉的口号是什么？对，就是Wuhan, Different Everyday 武汉，每天不一样。因为今天冷的需要穿厚衣服，明天可能热的穿短袖；今天下着大雨，明天可能是晴天；但，这就是武汉的独特之处。

  虽然舍不得，可是这一天还是到了，我们要毕业啦！请允许我代表国际学生向母校道别，向老师们道别，向同学们道别；可我们不会告别梦想，不会告别“健康所系，性命相托”的誓言。

  重温了在HUST度过的美妙时光，现在，到我们显身手的时候了，让全世界看看HUST的学生是多么优秀吧！

  So graduating class of 2019, one adventure ends and now the next one begins. Just remember, everything will be okay. Congratulations！
